Humanitarian Ministry

The humanitarian ministry of Disciple the Nations is designed to show the love of Christ in practical ways through meeting the felt needs of people. These projects often open the door for church planting and evangelism among unreached people groups. The old adage, "people don't care how much you know until they know how much you care" applies here. Disciple the Nations has received two letters of recognition from the governments of Ghana and Nigeria for our humanitarian work (see gallery). Disciple the Nations' humanitarian projects include but are not limited to the following:

• Literacy training
• Daycares
• Schools
• Orphanages
• Aids awareness training
• Rescuing young ladies from sex trafficking
• Disaster relief
• Water Purification

Water Purification

Did you know in developing coutries 25,000 people die every single day from water borne diseases like cholera or typhoid? According to the World Health Organization, diarrhea is the world's second leading cause of infant deaths and 80% of all global illnesses can be attributed to unsafe water and inadequate sanitation. The heartbeat of DTN is to offer a simple solution to a complex problem. The hand held product you see in the picture converts a solution of water and salt into chlorine. The chlorine is injected into the water supply in measured amounts and purifies the water killing all bacteria and eliminating parasitic diseases before they occur. This small unit can treat enough water to provide for thousands of people. We are very excited about this purification unit and its affordability and believe it is the key to open the door that will reach thousands with the gospel and discipleship. We need your help.

The cost for one of the full kits is $300. The full kit includes:
